Endovascular Therapy of peripheral arterial disease

In addition to conservative and surgical options, endovascular therapy is becoming increasingly important in the treatment of peripheral arterial disease. The development of modern devices and the associated improvement in long-term patency rates as well as the expansion of procedural techniques are sustainably supporting this trend.

This workshop is aimed at colleagues who are at the beginning of their interventional training. Accompanied by a theoretical part, the focus is on working together on simulators and in the catheter laboratory.

In order to convey the contents of the workshop in the best possible way, we will discuss the various strategies in endovascular therapy of the iliac arteries and femoro-popliteal arteries in small learning groups of 4 participants and put them into practice.
