Shoulder surgery is a wide field of orthopedic and trauma surgery including arthroscopy, open surgery, arthroplasty and even fracture management. Together with an international faculty we will present current surgical techniques. This course focuses on hands-on practice in our Skills Lab including discussions in small groups. The maximum number of participants is limited to 20 with at least 10 instructors to guarantee a high level of interaction with more experienced shoulder surgeons.

We use fresh-frozen specimens in our modern Skills Lab located on the campus of the Lucerne Cantonal Hospital. We are delighted to show you insights from rotator cuff repair to latarjet, brachial plexus release and different kinds of fracture management of the proximal humerus.
